Chaplain (COL) Jerry Martin, USA (Ret), Executive Director

Chaplain Martin, Executive Director, and his wife, live in Camanche, Iowa. Dr. Wayne Shaw is Chairman of the Commissioners. One of the other members is Dr. Paul Boatman of Lincoln Christian Seminary.

 

The purpose of the Commission is to represent the chaplains of the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Our chaplains not only help the armed forces in a time of war and on the bases here in America while they are in training but also have opportunity to minister to the President of the United States.
