Light the Night with Jesus was our 2011 Halloween alternative.  It was a great evening of costumes, music and devotions where we not only let the children have fun in their costumes, but they learned a little about the light of Jesus.  We were lucky to have two baptisms afterwards!  The children had a wonderful time and so did we!
