We have four wonderful Sunday morning worship services at 7:45, 9:00, 10:15 and 11:30 a.m. In our services God is honored, His Word is declared, we share in fellowship and the Lord's Supper, needs are met, and people are encouraged. We have many programs and classes that are designed to bring people to Christ and to help us all grow in Him. We have a gifted staff who work together to meet needs and lead the church. Second Church of Christ is a great church.  We have people of all ages from a variety of backgrounds and races.  Our doors are open to all.  We place great emphasis on ministering to the whole person.  We have great children's and youth programming, Sunday School and small group gatherings, and a strong outreach and mission emphasis.  Our authority comes from the Word of God and our guidance comes from the Spirit of God.  Presently we are averaging over 1000 in our four morning services and our intent is to keep reaching out to those who do not know our wonderful Lord.

 

Please remember that God loves you more than any of us can begin to understand, and He showed that love by allowing His Son, Jesus, to die to pay the penalty for our sins.  Jesus came into this world to live among us to invite us back to the Father.  Our problem is that we have rebelled against God, broken His laws and worse, broken His heart.  We have chosen to live the way we want, and if we look at the present world situation, we can see what a mess we have made of it.  God knows how life works best and He wants to give us direction, meaning, and hope.  He has created His earthly family, the Church, as a place where people can learn, grow and serve together.  This life is often not easy and there are so many voices calling for us to listen and follow.  It makes such a difference when you are a part of the Lord's church.  The support, care, counsel, and fellowship help in times of need and gives us an opportunity to help others.  Our Creator wants all of us to be in His family and to be serving Him.
